I Am an Alumni and Professor of Sociology at Essex County College
I have a graduate degree in Human Services Administration. Springfield College & University Wilmington Delaware. I chose this field to study social issues and systems to better understand how to help others and foster social change. I have a strong background in non-profit management, human development and possess a broad range of skills in program development for youth and families. In addition, I have written grants and awarded funding from city government, county government, state government, and federal government programs in particular US Dept. Youth and Family Services. My goal is to educate, inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.

Fortunately, high school students in Essex County don't have to fend for themselves. Diane Young offers a pre-college program through NuWave Solutions, an organization dedicated to helping young adults reach their full potential. Students who participate can earn college credit and will be better prepared for the real world than their peers.
